Kanye West looks glum after leaving restaurant alone in LA despite spending New Year's with family

Kanye West was said to be "doing better" after his recent hospitalisation and rumours of pressure on his marriage to Kim Kardashian.

The rapper took his family to visit his mother's grave in Oklahoma City where Kim and the kids met some of Kanye's family.

The star was said to be in "sleeping better" and "better mentally", according to People magazine.

But he cut a glum figure as he emerged alone from a restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Wearing black boots, cargo pants and white jumper, there was no sign of wife Kim as Kanye stepped out and into a waiting car.

It's been a difficult time of year for Kanye who was very close to his mum Donda
