Chelsea set to send Fabregas to China
Cesc Fabregas could be set for a move to China.
Chelsea are set to offload midfielder Cesc Fabregas to China after already doing same with Oscar, according to reports.
The Spain international has struggled for regular first team football under Antonio Conte, even though he has been very impressive in his last two games for the Blues.
However, reports suggest he is the subject of interest from the Chinese Super League, and the Premier League club could be forced to cash in on him. However, neither Chelsea nor Fabregas would consider a deal in January as the midfielder is reportedly happy at Chelsea and is playing his way back into Antonio Conte's plans.
According to the Daily Mail, his likeliest destination is Guangzhou Evergrande, who are coached by Luiz Felipe Scolari, the former Chelsea manager, and were also in the mix for Oscar, who has reportedly agreed a £52million deal to join Shanghai SIPG.
It is believed Chelsea could ask for as much as £40m if Fabregas, whose contract with the west London club runs until 2019, leaves for Guangzhou. The Spaniard has struggled for game time this season and the riches on offer in China — Oscar will reportedly earn a staggering £400,000 a week — may tempt him.
