Super falcons to get N4.9m each today

  Players of the Super Falcons are set to get their entitlements today.

Players of Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to be paid the sum of N4, 900, 000 (four million, nine hundred thousand naira) each as their entitlements owed them by the Nigeria Football Federation, fcnaija.com has scooped.




The players have been protesting the non-payment of their entitlements following their triumph at the AWCON in Cameroon two weekends ago, and even staged a protest to the National Assembly on Wednesday, which prompted the federal government to promise to offset the bills

It has now been confirmed that the money has been paid to the NFF, who are now set to pay into the accounts of the players.

However, the players have insisted they should be collecting more than the N4.9m they are about to receive.

According to fcnaija.com sources, the NFF are to pay each player N5m, but they will deduct the N100, 000 they paid each player earlier as transport fare, brining down the money each player will receive to N4.9m.
